SourceAmerican folk motifs after Joseph D’Addetta’s American Folk Art Designs and Motifs (Dover, 1984). Renderings of Northeastern chests, tinware, quilts, and samplers, ca. 1750–1850. And state quilt blocks from The United States Patchwork Pattern Book (Dover, 1976), first published in Hearth & Home magazine, 1907–1912. Recomposed in the studio and recolored from original photographs of Goan fishing boats. Screenshots of computer code are set among the motifs.

Origin & Provenance. Designed in our West Village studio by artist Paul Morris. Each scarf begins as an original photograph or collage. It is digitally printed to order on 100% silk habotai in editions of 100.

Material: 100 % habotai de seda (también llamado seda de China)—ligero, suave y luminoso, con un sutil brillo natural.
Impresión: Cada pañuelo se hace a pedido y se imprime con tintes reactivos que se fijan en la seda misma: el color es permanente y no se agrieta, no se pela ni se destiñe. Terminado con dobladillo enrollado a la manera clásica.
Cuidado: Se recomienda lavado en seco. También puede lavarse a mano con agua fría y detergente suave. Secar en plano. Planchar a baja temperatura con un paño si hace falta.
