Haleakalā Moonrise pulls the late-afternoon view from Maui’s eastern summit and folds it onto silk.
The volcano ridge and palm silhouettes are sliced, flipped, and aligned into a geometric tropical print. Golds, blues, and dark volcanic rock sit next to each other like layers of sky, summit, and shadow.
Haleakalā is a dormant shield volcano—10,023 feet at the rim, with a crater seven miles across. In Hawaiian its name means “House of the Sun,” for the legend of Maui the demigod lassoing the sun from its summit. In late afternoon the moon climbs the eastern wall before the sun has set—a daylight moon over dark rock and trade-wind clouds.
It’s lightweight, packs flat, and still has enough presence to turn a T-shirt and jeans into an actual look.

Materials & Care
Materials & Care
Material: 100% silk habotai (also known as China silk)—lightweight, smooth, and luminous with a subtle natural sheen.
Printing: Each scarf is made to order and printed with reactive dyes that set into the silk itself, so the color is permanent and won’t crack, peel, or fade. Finished with a rolled baby hem.
Care: Dry clean recommended. May also be gently hand-washed in cool water with mild detergent. Lay flat to dry. Iron on low heat with a pressing cloth if needed.
