A New York Aquarium seahorse, but make it street-ready.
Sea-Horse takes a 1912 postcard from the New York Aquarium—seahorses floating through reeds—and drops it into a modern geometric frame. The result is bright, lean, and a little surreal, like an underwater scene cut into a pattern repeat.
It’s light on the neck and heavy on character, the kind of piece that looks just as right with a T-shirt as it does with a sharper jacket.
- 100% silk habotai with a soft, fluid drape
- Seahorse artwork from a 1912 New York Aquarium postcard
- Layered with bold geometric shapes for contrast
- Rolled baby hem for a neat finish
- Works as neck scarf, headband, or bag accent
A considered gift—arrives ready to wear.

Materials & Care
Materials & Care
Material: 100% silk habotai (also known as China silk)—lightweight, smooth, and luminous with a subtle natural sheen.
Printing: Each scarf is made to order and printed with reactive dyes that set into the silk itself, so the color is permanent and won’t crack, peel, or fade. Finished with a rolled baby hem.
Care: Dry clean recommended. May also be gently hand-washed in cool water with mild detergent. Lay flat to dry. Iron on low heat with a pressing cloth if needed.

The scarf is a generous size making it very versatile and a lovely light weight, soft, perfectly draping material. The colors are as vibrant and joyous in person as in the picture. The seller shipped it quickly. I just love it!
