Solfatara + Mimosa is what happens when a museum floral decides to go off-pattern.

We took a classic botanical from the Smithsonian American Art Museum, turned up the color, and cut it with a quilt-like grid in gold, violet, and coral red. The result feels more like a modern textile than a vintage print—clean lines, big blooms, zero hesitation.

Designed in our New York City studio by artist Paul Morris. Each scarf begins as an original photograph or collage, digitally printed to order on 100% silk habotai, in editions of 100. Trade inquiries welcome.

Materials & Care

Material: 100% silk habotai (also known as China silk)—lightweight, smooth, and luminous with a subtle natural sheen.

Care: Dry clean recommended. May also be gently hand-washed in cool water with mild detergent. Lay flat to dry. Iron on low heat with a pressing cloth if needed.

How are your scarves produced?

Every Leeloo + Zohan silk scarf is made to order, in editions of 100 per size. Once an edition sells out, the design is retired.

What sizes are available?

All square scarves come in 26″, 36″, and 50″ squares.

How do I care for my silk scarf?

Dry clean is recommended for long-term color preservation. For a quick refresh, hand-wash in cool water with a mild detergent, lay flat to dry, and iron on low with a pressing cloth. Never tumble dry.

When will my order arrive?

How do you source your artwork?

Every design begins as original photography, collage, or artwork by our founder, artist Paul Morris. Some scarves incorporate archival or public-domain imagery from the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Library of Congress, and other museum sources—always credited on the product page.
